A Little Bit About Us
In 2001, Kathleen Perhach and her loyal stage and technical crew departed from under the umbrella of the now defunct North County Productions. Determined to "work a show", Kathleen and "the boys" made themselves available to anyone that needed a stage crew. KatPac Productions was founded by Kathleen with the dream of supplying San Diego North County with an experienced production company that was technically oriented. This small dream has blossomed into an entire season ranging from Shakespeare to One Act plays, from Middle Eastern Dance to local bands.
The crew of KatPac has more than 40 years of collective experience in theater, covering everything from stage crew to make-up to scenic and lighting design.
Working with local directors and other production companies, KatPac is forging its niche in North County Theater. From Poor Players Productions to CEDAR Rep Dance Company, KatPac is growing and diversifying at a rapid rate. Sponsoring local bands like Sonny Derin & DJ White to the Tim Mudd Band; and musical artists like Black Swann and Ignacio Del Rio, KatPac is taking live performance productions to the next level.
